Who am I?

I care deeply about helping people to befriend themselves and transform their experience of stress and emotions to overcome illness and life’s challenges. I’m fascinated by the ways our minds and bodies are interconnected and how our bodies have their own stories to tell. Following my own health challenges – I’ve become a nervous system health expert. I love to learn and teach about this work as it is practical, accessible, effective and transformative.

What is my background?

I am a Somatic Practitioner and Mind Body Coach, certified through The Embody Lab. My journey of recovering from Long Covid (and ME/CFS, POTS & Fibromyalgia), led me to this work. I believe the body has a natural ability to heal and that learning to speak its language can transform our suffering into wellbeing.

I feel like I got a second chance to live my life, and I’m grateful to be sharing what I’ve learned by guiding others. I combine different therapies and practices depending on individual needs and challenges, walking alongside you as you find your way home.

If you feel unlike yourself, get easily triggered or experience (unexplained) physical complaints after a period of chronic stress, infection, trauma or emotional challenges, working with the nervous system could be an effective way to support your body to restore balance and get unstuck. I offer two trajectories:

1 – For Long Covid and ME/CFS Recovery

I know how hard it is to feel like you’ve woken up in a stranger’s body, to be wiped out from the smallest things, to suffer from so many different symptoms, to feel like the world has left you behind. You are not alone, and it is possible to restore balance and wellbeing – it’s a matter of finding the right approach for you. I’d love to help you with this so you can live your life again. I offer a 12-week tailored recovery program that includes weekly 1:1 coaching sessions and supplementary educational videos with guided practices & resources to help you rebuild your health. The program includes a variety of therapies including nervous system regulation, brain retraining, somatic practices and inner healing. 2 – For Stress, Burnout or Trauma Complaints

I like to say we all have a “stress bucket” and over time this bucket gets filled up, but we never learn how to empty or maintain this bucket or how to restore and recover after stressful events. The Somatic Stress Release™ method helps us do this in a natural way. It’s a holistic therapy to process and release ‘stored’ stress and emotions by completing the stress cycle, this helps to restore balance and a sense of wellbeing. SSR sessions involve self-inquiry, parts work and body-based practices to transform our experience of stress, difficult emotions and life’s challenges. It is also an effective integrative body-based therapy for the treatment of burnout or post-traumatic symptoms.

What else do I do?

I love spending time in nature, cycling, swimming, going on walks and taking pictures of random things that make me smile – which also fills up my cloud storage! I love to travel, explore, read and be creative. My current goal is to live more intentionally while finding my own balance and flow in life.

Costs

The cost per SSR session (60 min.) is € 75,-.

The cost for the 12-week Long Covid Recovery Program is € 750,-
(including 12x 1:1 coaching sessions, supplementary videos, practices & resources)

Compensation

These sessions are not currently covered by additional insurance.

Working hours

II’m available on location at the Practice on Tuesday mornings 09:00-13:00. The rest of the week I am available for online sessions (or in-person sessions upon request).
